All of this being said, are YOU a person who practices ethical behavior? If so, why and if no, the question becomes, why not? Other reasons a person may not practice ethics: emotional disconnect, a lack of love and compassion for others, envy, jealousy, anger, vengeance, lack of knowledge and/or training, hidden agendas, etc.
Ethics serves as a tool of self-discipline, order out of chaos, as well as respect, of self and others, putting a boundary on improper and possibly dangerous and damaging behaviors that can damage the victims as well as the victimizers.
